Introducton to Wet Felting

Open to adults and teens - Learn the basics of smooth, fine layout, even edges, and wool types. Embellish with yarns, silk, bamboo, viscose and more while creating a table runner or wall hanging. Explore the endless possibilities of wet felting! ALL felting materials included with tuition.
Students should bring: 2 bath size towels and 1 or 2 hand towels
and 1 plastic bag to bring home wet items

Felting On A Ball - One technique, many options!
Saturdays, Feb. 7 & 14, 2026 | 10:30am - 1:00pm
Open to teens and adults (some felting experience is recommended). Create an illuminated globe to add drama to your room OR a unique vessel or bowl for your table. This fun method of wet felting is done over a ball using ultra fine merino and bamboo, viscous and/or tussah silk with yarn and other embellishments. You’ll make the 3D shape and stiffen it during the first session and learn various methods of enhancement in the second session.
Students should bring:

• 2 bath size towels and 2 hand towels
• 2 pair of panty hose (S, M, or L)
• 1 dishpan for sink (8-12 qt.)
• 1 large mouth mason jar
• 1 squirt bottle

Optional supplies to bring:

• electric palm sander (vibrator type only)
• interesting yarns, silk, wool you might want to use
• light fixtures/bases you would like to use
• photos/inspirations you want to consider
