Make a felt covered Lampshade - BEGINNER FRIENDLY
Monday and Tuesday, October 5 & 6 from 10:30am-1pm.
Learn basic wet felting techniques while making a beautiful lampshade, how to make a pattern using your lampshade base and instructions on shade assembly. Participants will create a handcrafted drum lampshade using fine Merino wool. Guided step by step, you’ll learn traditional wet felting techniques to form, full and shape wool over a drum base. The workshop also explores surface design and decorative techniques, allowing you to personalize your lampshade with color, texture and simple felted details. Whether you prefer a clean, minimalist finish or a more organic, layered look, you’ll be encouraged to create a piece that reflects your own style.

Vessels using a simple resist - All levels - adults
Saturday, October 24 from 12:30-3:30pm.
What is a resist? Learn how to layout a piece on a flat resist and properly full it so that it can be opened up into a beautiful 3-D vessel. Add embellishments and make a personal  
statement with color and texture. Note: This could be a Christmas Stocking workshop. BEGINNER FRIENDLY. Those with some felting experience can experiment with multiple resists and 3D shaping using various fulling techniques. ALL equipment and materials are included in this workshop

Felted Holiday Table Runner 
Saturday, November 21 from 10:30am-1:30pm.
BEGINNER FRIENDLY! Learn how to use prefelt when making a beautiful holiday table runner. Bring your own design or use one provided for a festive accent for your holiday table. This technique has many uses in the felting process. By making this piece you will gain the knowledge to make pillows, bags, materials to use for scrapbooking, clothing and so much more.  The finished piece will be about 10" x 36" and all supplies are included.
